How to create a new building update

Learn how to add a new Building Update in the LIV app

Creating a new Building Update allows you to inform tenants and users about recent changes or important news related to the building. This feature ensures everyone is up-to-date with the latest information.

After logging in, navigate to the Building Updates page by clicking on Building Updates from the left side menu. Then, click on the Create Building Update button.

Use the drop-down menu to select the building for which you are creating the update, ensuring the update is linked to the correct property.

Enter the subject in the Title field and fill in the Content section with the details of the update. If relevant, choose an image to accompany the update, enhancing the communication's impact.


Click the Next button to move forward in the update creation process.

Toggle the Send Notification option if you wish to send a push notification to tenants, alerting them to the new update. Determine the urgency of the update by selecting a priority level: High, Medium, or Low.

Choose an Expiry Date for the update or opt for Never Expires to keep the update indefinitely.

After reviewing all entered details for accuracy, click on the Create Update button to complete the process.
