How to Create New Buildings

Here's how to add a new building to your LIV platform:

Creating a new building in LIV is a straightforward process that allows you to expand and manage your portfolio of properties within the platform. By adding new buildings, you can better organize and provide specific information and updates related to each property.

1. Navigate to Buildings Section:

Once logged in, find the Buildings option in the left-side menu and click on it. This will take you to the Buildings page, where you can view and manage all existing buildings.

2. Begin Building Creation:

2. On the Buildings page, look for the Create Building button. Clicking this button will start the process of adding a new building to your system.

3. Enter Building Information:

Now, you'll be prompted to enter details in the General Information section for the new building:

a) Building Name: Enter the name of the building. This name should be distinctive and identifiable, as it will be used to refer to the property throughout Unify LIV.

b) Address: Fill in the complete address of the building. Ensure that the address is accurate and comprehensive, including street name, number, city, state, and zip code. This information is crucial for identification and location-based services.

After filling in the General Information section with the building's name and address, you can proceed with any additional steps required by LIV to complete the building's profile.

4. Advanced Information Section:

a) Enter Built Year details: Specify the year the building was constructed.

b) Enter Neighborhood details: Provide information about the neighborhood where the building is located.

c) Select Time zone from dropdown list: Choose the appropriate time zone for the building.

5. Descriptions Section:

a) Enter About details: Provide a description of the building to help potential tenants understand its features and benefits.

b) Upload Building Image if applicable: Add an image of the building to enhance its profile.

c) Upload Building Logo if applicable: Include the building’s logo for branding purposes.

d) Click on the Next button to proceed to the next page.

6. Community Rules Section:

a) Enter Rules details: Specify any specific rules or guidelines associated with the building.

b) Add more rules if applicable: Include additional rules as needed.

c) Click on the Next button to proceed to the next page.

7. Main Contacts Section:

a) Enter Property Manager Contact Details: Input the necessary contact information for the property manager, such as phone numbers and email addresses.

b) Enter Building Security Contact Details: Provide the contact details for the building's security team.

d) Enter Management Email Address Details: Specify the email addresses for the building management team.

Click on the Next Button to Proceed to the Next Page.

8. Approvals Section:

a) Select Amenity approval settings: Choose the approval settings for amenities.

b) Select Marketplace item approval settings (Community): Set the approval settings for marketplace items.

c) Select Discussion post approval settings (Community): Determine the approval settings for community discussion posts.

d) Click on the Next Button to Proceed to the Next Page.

9. Visitor Parking Permit Section:

Allowed visitor permits per month: Enter the number of visitor parking permits allowed per month.

10. Parcel Hold Days Section:

a) Select Parcel Vacation Mode Settings: Choose the settings for parcel vacation mode.

b) Enter Parcel maximum hold days value: Specify the maximum number of days parcels can be held.

c) Enter Parcel max hold vacation days value if applicable: Provide the maximum hold days for parcels during vacation periods.

d) Click on the Next button to proceed to the next page.

11. Invoices Section:

a) Before payment is due value: Enter the number of days before payment is due.

b) Enter After payment is due value: Set the conditions after payment is due.

Completion: Once you have reviewed everything, click the Create button to complete the process. You have now created a new Building.
