How to Create Amenities

Creating a new amenity in LIV helps manage and showcase the facilities available to tenants.

Follow these steps to add an amenity to your property:

1. Login and Navigate:

After logging in, click on Amenities from the left side menu to access the Amenities page.

2. Create Amenity:

Click on the Create Amenity button to initiate the amenity creation process.

3. General Information:

On the General page, complete the following:

a) Select the Building: Choose the required building from the dropdown list.

b) Amenity Name: Enter the name of the amenity.

c) Amenity Description: Provide a detailed description of the amenity.

d) Banner Image: Upload a banner image if applicable.

e) Floor: Specify the floor on which the amenity is located.

f) Room/Location: Enter the room or specific location if applicable.

g) Amenity Capacity: Input the maximum capacity of the amenity.

4. Click on the Next button to proceed.

5. Available Features:

On the Available Features page, select any features that apply to the amenity and then click Next or Skip if not applicable.

6. Booking Hours Setup:

Choose between Single day or Overnight booking:

  • Single Day Booking: Set open days and times. Optionally, set a cleaning time.

  • Overnight Booking: Define check-in and check-out times and, if necessary, minimum and maximum nights.

Single Day Booking:

a) Select Open Days: Use the toggle buttons to choose which days the amenity will be available for booking.

b) Set Open to Close Times: Utilize time pickers to specify the opening and closing hours for the amenity on the selected days.

c) Cleaning Time: If applicable, activate the Cleaning Time toggle and select the times during which cleaning will occur to ensure the amenity is well-maintained.

Overnight Booking:

a) Set Check-In and Check-Out Times: Use the time pickers to establish the check-in and check-out times for the amenity.

b) Specify Stay Duration: Enter the minimum and maximum number of nights that the amenity can be booked, if applicable. This helps manage how long guests can use the facility during their stay.

7. Click on the Next button to proceed to the next page

8. Booking Options:

Enter any specific booking options for the amenity and proceed by clicking Next or Skip.

9. Amenity Visibility:

On the Status page, select Online to make the amenity visible or Offline to hide it from tenants.

10. Amenity Charge:

Choose the charging model (Free, Paid per night, or Paid flat fee). If paid, enter the amount.

11. Security Deposit:

Decide whether to require a security deposit. If yes, specify the amount.

12. Pre-Booking Lockout Period:

Enter the number of hours for the lockout period before the booking starts, during which no edits can be made.

13. Configurations:

Choose the booking method:

  • No Booking Needed: Tenants can view but not book.

  • External Link: Provide an URL for bookings made outside the LIV application.

Bookable via LIV Application: Set approval settings, select booking intervals, and guest policies.

No booking needed: Tenants can view but not book.

External Link: External Link: Provide an URL for bookings made outside the LIV application.

Bookable via LIV application:

a) Select Needs Approval configuration (paid amenities do not include this function)

- If Yes selected, select Always or After hours only

b) Select Booking Interval from drop down

c) Select Multiple booking per time slot toggle if applicable

(If this is On, multiple tenants can book this amenity at the same time until it reaches maximum capacity)

- If On is selected, enter Maximum number of bookings allowed per time slot

d) Select Guests allowed toggle if applicable

- If On is selected, enter number of guests

e) Enter Maximum number of booking per person

f) Enter Minimum hours required before booking

g) Enter Advance booking range

14. Cancellation Policy:

a)Enter the cancellation policy details for the amenity.

b) Once you have completed everything, click the Create Amenity button to complete the process. You can always go Back to edit previous pages.

15. Completion:

Review all entered information. Once complete, click the "Create Amenity" button to complete the process.
